Yes. You may be able to apply for credit if you already hold all or part of a qualification.
Each course has different application procedures. Go to our courses page to view individual application requirements.
Your work will be assessed using a variety of methods depending on the qualification you are completing and the type of delivery method i.e. in the classroom or in the workplace. Examples of assessment methods include:
  • Verbal/written questioning
  • Workbook activities
  • Quizzes
  • Portfolio
  • Projects
  • Observation/demonstration
  • Role play
  • Case studies/scenarios
  • Third party reports
All assessments are competency based. In competency based assessment there is no 'pass' and no 'fail'. If your assessment has been deemed Not Satisfactory in an assessment task, we will work with you to help you improve on your knowledge and skills. Please refer to the Student Handbook for more information about an assessment appeals process.

If you have successfully completed all requirements of a qualification, you will receive a certificate including a Record of Results which lists all units completed.

If you did not successfully complete all requirements for a qualification or only enrolled in a partial qualification, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment that includes all units that you successfully completed.

You will need to allow 30 days from course completion for your qualification or Statement of Attainment to be issued (providing all outstanding fees have been paid).

If, for any reason, you withdraw from your course or a VET unit of study and seek a refund of fees (either before or after it starts), you must apply to A Grade Education and Training in writing (by email) and by completing the Refund Request Form.

Please note that each application for refund will be dealt with on a case by case basis and individual circumstances taken into account.

Wherever possible, students, clients and staff are encouraged to resolve concerns or difficulties directly with the person(s) concerned. There are trainers, administration and management staff available to assist you in resolving issues at this level. If you are unable to resolve your issue at this level, a formal complaint can be lodged.
